Google Meet Integration

Connect Google Meet to PepoSmart to automatically create video meeting links for your scheduled appointments.

Prerequisites

• A PepoSmart account
• A Google account with access to Google Meet
• Google Calendar connected (required). If it isn't connected yet, PepoSmart connects it in the same step as Google Meet.

Connecting Google Meet

Step 1: Open the Google Meet Integration

1. Log in to your PepoSmart account
2. Click Integrations in the sidebar
3. Click the Google Meet card

The page shows a Requires Google Calendar row that tells you whether your Google Calendar is already connected.

Step 2: Click Connect Google Meet

What happens next depends on whether Google Calendar is connected:

• Google Calendar not connected yet: a popup, Connect Google Calendar to use Google Meet, explains why it's needed. Click Connect Google Calendar, sign in to your Google account, and allow calendar access. That one sign-in connects Google Calendar and switches Google Meet on. There is no second sign-in.
• Google Calendar already connected: you go straight to Google. Sign in, then review and accept the permissions.

Step 3: Back in PepoSmart

Google Meet now shows as Connected. If Google Calendar was connected in the same step, you land back on the Google Meet page with a confirmation that both are connected.

Using Google Meet

1. Create or edit an event
2. Select Google Meet as the location
3. Save the event
4. When someone books, a Meet link is automatically generated

The Meet link lives on the booking's Google Calendar event. If you've connected more than one calendar, that event goes on your calendar to add events to (Availability → Calendar settings) when it's a Google calendar. If that's an Outlook calendar, the Meet event goes on your first connected Google account, and Outlook gets a copy for you.

If Google Calendar Gets Disconnected

Google Meet can't create links without Google Calendar. If it's disconnected:

• The Google Meet card on the Integrations page shows Needs Google Calendar
• The Google Meet page shows a Requires Google Calendar warning with a Connect button. Use it to reconnect Google Calendar.
• Google Meet is removed as a location from your events, so add it back to those events after reconnecting

Disconnecting Google Meet

1. Go to Integrations and open Google Meet
2. Click Disconnect Google Meet

Google Meet is removed as a location from your events. Your Google Calendar stays connected.

To revoke access completely:

1. Visit Google Account Permissions
2. Find PepoSmart and remove access
