Removing the App

This guide explains how to disconnect integrations from PepoSmart and what happens to your data when you do so.

Disconnecting Integrations

Removing Zoom Integration

  1. Log in to your PepoSmart account at app.peposmart.com
  2. Navigate to Integrations from the sidebar
  3. Find the Zoom integration card
  4. Click Disconnect
  5. Confirm the disconnection

To also remove PepoSmart from your Zoom account:

  1. Log in to your Zoom account
  2. Navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace
  3. Click Manage → Added Apps
  4. Search for "PepoSmart"
  5. Click on the PepoSmart app
  6. Click Remove

Removing Google Meet Integration

  1. Log in to PepoSmart
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Find Google Meet and click Disconnect

To revoke access from Google:

  1. Go to Google Account Permissions
  2. Find PepoSmart in the list of connected apps
  3. Click on it and select Remove Access

Removing Microsoft Teams Integration

  1. Log in to PepoSmart
  2. Go to Integrations
  3. Find Microsoft Teams and click Disconnect

To revoke access from Microsoft:

  1. Go to Microsoft Account App Permissions
  2. Find PepoSmart and click Remove

Removing Calendar Integrations

Follow the same steps as above for Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar. The process is identical to removing Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.

Implications of Removal

Important

Please read the following carefully before disconnecting any integration.

When You Disconnect Zoom

  • New bookings: Will no longer automatically create Zoom meetings.
  • Existing bookings: Zoom links already created will continue to work. However, if these bookings are cancelled, the Zoom meetings will NOT be automatically deleted.
  • Events using Zoom: Will need to be updated to use a different location type.

When You Disconnect Calendar

  • New bookings: Will no longer be added to your calendar.
  • Availability: Your calendar will no longer be checked for conflicts, which may result in double-bookings.
  • Existing events: Calendar events already created will remain on your calendar but won't be updated if bookings are changed.

When You Disconnect Google Meet or Microsoft Teams

  • Similar implications as Zoom - new meetings won't have video links created automatically.
  • Existing meeting links will continue to work.

How Your Data is Handled

Data Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Here's what happens to your data when you disconnect.

Integration Data Removed

When you disconnect an integration, we immediately delete:

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens
  • Integration-specific user IDs
  • Any cached integration data

Data Retained

The following data is retained for your records:

  • Booking history: Records of past bookings (invitee name, email, time, event type)
  • Meeting links: URLs of meetings that were created (these are stored for reference)
  • Meeting notes: Transcripts and summaries (if meeting notes were enabled)

Complete Account Deletion

If you want to delete your entire PepoSmart account and all associated data:

  1. Contact us at support@peposmart.com
  2. Request account deletion
  3. We will delete all your data within 30 days

Re-Connecting Integrations

You can reconnect any integration at any time by going to Integrations and clicking Connect. You will need to authorize PepoSmart again.
